What’s new in Project Flow

Milient is continually improving Project Flow with new features, performance upgrades, and usability improvements.

The following update includes:

Changes:

Project Planning & Team Assignment

Why?
Project managers needed a faster and more intuitive way to find and assign resources to projects.

What's changed?
The add/edit project member dialogs have been redesigned with clearer tabs for Co-worker, Tag, and Unassigned, making it easier to locate and assign the right resources.

Where to find it?
Available when managing project members in Project Planning.

Report Performance & Stability

Why?
When reports contained a lot of data, they could sometimes be slower to load or export.

What's changed?
Performance improvements have been made to several reports, including Offer, Expense, Absence, and Customer reports. Export functionality has also been improved for greater reliability.

Where to find it?
Available across multiple reports in Project Flow.

Finance – To Be Invoiced

Why?
Users working with larger projects could sometimes experience slower performance when creating invoices.

What's changed?
The performance of the invoicing page has been improved, making it faster and easier to use. We have also fixed issues that could affect how information was sorted.

Available on the invoicing pages

New Functions:

Dedicated Invoice Email Field

Why?
To ensure invoices and payment reminders are always sent to the correct recipient.

What's changed?
A dedicated invoice email field has been added at the customer level, allowing companies to define a separate email address specifically for invoicing.

Where to find it?
Click on a customer, then select 'Edit' on the main page.

Email Rejection Visibility

Why?
Users needed better insight into why emails were not being delivered.

What's changed?
The system now provides clearer information when an email cannot be delivered, making it easier to identify and resolve the issue.

Where to find it?
Available wherever email delivery status is displayed.

Infrastructure & Monitoring Improvements

Why?
To provide a more stable and reliable experience

What's changed?
We've made improvements behind the scenes to help Project Flow run more smoothly and efficiently. These updates also make it easier for us to monitor and maintain the platform.

Bug Fixes:

#1610: Report Download Failures

• Issue: Report downloads could occasionally fail.
• Fix: Download functionality has been corrected and is now more reliable.

#1609: Project Plan Reallocation Errors

• Issue: Errors could occur after reallocating plans in the project view.
• Fix: The reallocation process has been corrected.

#989: Service & Maintenance Messages

• Issue: Service and maintenance notifications were not always displayed correctly.
• Fix: Service and maintenance notifications now display more reliably, helping you stay informed about important updates.

#1580: Select-All in Virtual Lists

• Issue: Group headers were not included when using the select-all function.
• Fix: Group headers are now included when using 'Select All', making it easier to work with grouped items.

#1435: Mobile Password Reset

• Issue: Some users could experience incorrect redirects during mobile password resets.
• Fix: We've improved the password reset experience on mobile devices to ensure users are directed to the correct page.
