Company holidays are essentially national holidays.

In certain nations such as Denmark and Sweden, it is important to categorize half days as company holidays. 

Before you can register half days, the feature must be enabled in your settings.

Go to Setup > Settings > General and activate the half-day option.

After you enable and save it, return to your Company Holiday settings and a new option will appear.

By clicking on "Add Company Holiday," you can include a complete company holiday. 

This will be considered a full day off. Keep in mind that if a colleague logs hours during a company holiday, all those hours will be counted as banked hours.
